Background
The Gould Group is an independent non-profit organisation dedicated to environmental education and training in sustainability.
The Group conducts environmental education and sustainability programs and projects for schools, businesses and the community. It is recognised as an innovator and leader in environmental education with multiple state, national and international awards.
The organisation introduced a sustainable schools program, which encourages participating schools to implement environmentally sustainable practices in the areas of Waste, energy, Water and Biodiversity. A key component of the program, supported by regulatory authorities and the government, was the conduct of baseline audits and consulting services to assist schools in developing a vision and plans for the future.
The solution
iComply partnered with the Gould League in this highly successful project, to conduct a series of baseline audits at participating schools. A key point of difference offered by iComply was iAppraise. With its flexibility and mobile tools, iComply could quickly set up the required audit program and conduct audits efficiently in both urban and rural locations.
